Scope of Work
Construction of Plum Creek Golf Course Designed by Pete Dye and
surrounding residential development.
Installation of a 40' deep regional lift station including over a mile of 10"
offsite force main for the City of Carmel.
Extensive dewatering for lake excavation and sanitary sewer installation.
Sanitary sewer installation with depths ranging from 8 feet to 30 feet.
Storm sewer installation ranging in size from 12" to 36".
Water main installation ranging in size from 6" to 12".
Quantities
90 acre golf course and 60 acres of site development producing over 150
residential lots.
Excavation and placement of some 800,000 cubic yards of earth.
Installation of 5 miles of sanitary sewer pipe, 2.5 miles of storm sewer
pipe and 2.5 miles of water main.
Project Highlights
All work completed on time and within budget.
All facets of work were complicated by very high ground water
elevations, near White River.
Up to 30 pieces of equipment operating and 45 men working during
project pe while maintaining schedules on other projects.
No major safety related incidents.
